Resident may bring:
• Newspapers, bagged or tied
• Junk mail (loose)
• Cardboard
• Glass
• Cans
• Plastics #1 and #2
• Scrap metal (lawn mowers, barbecues, file cabinets, etc.)
• Clothing
•Senior citizens may purchase Senior Refuse Coupons ($3 each / book of 5 for $15) at the Town Clerk's office at 321 Bedford Road. Each coupon can be used for up to a 33-gallon trash bag of household refuse (no recycables) brought to the Recycling Center.

Cell Phone Disposal - County Law
Throwing a cell phone in the trash is never a good idea. As of June 1, 2006, it is against the law in Westchester.

Throwing a cell phone in the trash can get you a fine. Fines range from a warning to up to $250. For more information, click here.

A drop-off box is located on the first floor lobby of the Town Office at 425 Cherry Street and in the Town Clerk's Office in the Town House at 321 Bedford Road in Bedford Hills.
